Stewart Carter: has been personally involved in sport & recreation instruction, & in particular
swimming, since 1968. He is a United States Swimming Association Coach, an American Red
Cross Lifeguard Instructor, an NRPA Certified Aquatic Facility Operator & an Outdoor
Emergency Care Instructor. Stewart has taught in, &/or managed, aquatic & learn to swim
programs for the Portland YMCA, Bend Metro Parks & Recreation, Chehalem Parks &
Recreation District, City of Stayton, City of Woodburn, The Mittleman Jewish Community Center
& the El Cid Resorts in Mazatlan, Mexico.
He has also held instructor certifications from: The American Red Cross (Water Safety
Instructor), US Sailing, the Oregon State Marine Board, the Boardsailing Instructors Group &
the Pacific Northwest Ski Instructors Association.
Stewart works with a maximum of five swimmers per month in private & semi-private formats,
including one full or partial scholarship student each month: click here to request more info on

Rate: $50.00 per 1/2 hour session
